To make a nice walk or hike in Iceland, you need a route or trail that you want to walk and good clothing. By good clothing we mean shoes that are water-repellent or waterproof, sports leggings or outdoor pants that you can zip off when it's hot, a sweat-absorbing (sports) shirt and a vest that you can take off. If it's cold, we recommend putting on thermal clothing made of wool and a windproof and waterproof jacket. In your bag you put a refillable bottle of water, energy bars, fruit and of course your camera.
Iceland
Duration journey: 4 hours
One of the best horseback riding tours in Iceland
The horses are truly impressive and prior to the adventure you will receive a thorough instruction before heading out into nature. After driving, there is the opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal, and for those who want to extend the experience, there is a charming cottage for rent for the night. The dinner, highly recommended, is a culinary highlight that completes the overall experience. An unforgettable journey full of nature and gastronomic delights!
The coolest period is the best time to visit Iceland. In this case, that is during the summer that lasts from June to August. Absolutely do not expect any summer weather during this period. Only in exceptional cases does the thermometer go up to 25 degrees. Normal afternoon temperatures in Iceland in summer are between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures during an Icelandic summer are between 3 and 10 degrees.
